Skoda Kushaq has been launched in the Indian market

In India, the Skoda Kushaq has been released. The new SUV will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, and even its impending brother Taigun in the competitive compact SUV sector. The Kushaq is the first car to be released as part of the company’s India 2.0 product campaign, which will include four vehicles in total.

The base edition of the new SUV, with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, is priced at 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine has a starting price of 16.19 lakh. The automobile comes in three different versions: Active, Ambition, and Style.

The new Kushaq is priced similarly to its main competitors. The Creta starts at 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and reaches a peak price of 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. The Seltos starts at slightly less than ten lakh rupees and goes up to seventeen lakh rupees for the highest variant.

Skoda India has also revealed that the Kushaq comes with a four-year/one-million-kilometer guarantee, which may be extended to six years/one-hundred-thousand-kilometers. Skoda will also include a 2-year parts warranty, a 2-year battery warranty, a 3-year paint warranty, a 6-year corrosion warranty, and a 9-year extended roadside assistance package. Carbon Steel, Reflex Silver, Candy White, Tornado Red, and Honey Orange are the five colors available for the new SUV.

Two petrol turbocharged powerplant options will be available for the automobile. The new SUV is constructed on the MQB-A0-In platform, which is brand new. With the Kushaq, Skoda claims to have achieved a level of localization of up to 95%.
