Android 11 Open Beta 2 is now available for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. What’s in store for you?

The latest Android 11 Open Beta 2 update is now available for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. The new release is intended to provide a variety of repairs and enhancements to the game, rather than new features. This comes just a month after the firm released the Open Beta 1 for both of these phones. The devices have also recently received the stable Android 11 update. Here’s a rundown of what the Android 11 Open Beta 2 has to offer.

A variety of system, camera, and network fixes are included in the new OnePlus 6, 6T open beta version. It increases system stability by optimising third-party app overheating control management.

A number of previously reported issues will also be addressed.

The Open Beta 2 also includes a patch for the issue where the clicked photos are not saved. Additionally, 5 GHz WI-Fi connectivity has improved. Users of the OnePlus 6 and 6T who are on the Open Beta 1 will be able to get the new update via OTA. Those interested in trying out the beta build can do so by manually downloading it from here.

To emphasize, the upgrade isn’t completely stable and poses a number of dangers. It is strongly advised that you create a full backup before proceeding with the installation.

The OnePlus 6T has a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 10GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and a 3,700mAh battery with fast charging.
