Ola e-scooter to be launched on August 15: Will be able to buy it in 10 color options, range will be 150km on full charge

The wait for the Ola electric scooter will end on August 15. Ola Electric Scooter CEO Bhavesh Aggarwal told on social media that the launch event of the scooter will be held on August 15. Only then all its specifications and details will also be shared. Earlier, he thanked all the customers who have booked this scooter.

The Ola e-scooter will be launched with 10 colour options. This includes Black, White, Grey, Yellow, Red, Blue and their shades. The company started its pre-booking from July 15 for Rs 499. Which is also a refundable amount. The company had received more than 1 lakh bookings in the first 24 hours of booking.

The company has not yet disclosed the price of this e-scooter, but some reports have claimed that its price could be Rs 85,000. It is not yet clear whether this price will be with the subsidy, or whether the subsidy will be available at this price. Reports say that the battery and motor being used in it costs up to Rs 85 thousand.

  • 150km Range on Single Charge: This electric scooter can run up to 150 kms on a single charge. It will have a top speed of 90 kmph. This electric scooter will come with home charger. Customers will be able to charge this scooter from the regular wall socket.
  • Two helmets in boot space: It will also get bigger boot space. The video teaser shows the two helmets being kept in the boot space. Usually only one helmet is allowed in the boot space of the scooter.
  • 50% charge in 18 minutes: This fast charger will charge 50% in 18 minutes. It will get a range of 75 km. Along with this, the facility of smartphone connectivity will also be available in this electric scooter.
