The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued an official notice on Wednesday in response to a fraudulent public notice with the subject line “Conduct of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2021” that is being spread via various methods, including social media. The examination conducting organisation has denied sending any notice indicating September 5 as the exam date for NEET 2021.
“The NTA has taken the fake/unauthorised public notice seriously because it is being spread by some unscrupulous groups with the intent of misleading prospective candidates/parents/guardians/the general public. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, the NTA is still consulting with interested parties to determine a suitable date for the conduct of NEET (UG) – 2021.
The NTA has warned aspiring NEET (UG) – 2021 candidates, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders not to pay attention to such bogus notices and to be mindful of unauthorised/fake public notices issued through unknown sources. Candidates are also recommended to rely solely on NTA’s official websites, namely http://nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in, for public notices/information/ dates. The Education Ministry announced new exam dates for the JEE (Main) April and May sessions of 2021 on Tuesday. JEE Main 2021’s April session will be held from July 20 to 25. From July 27 to August 2, the fourth and final session of JEE Main 2021 (May session) will be held.
For applicants who were unable to register for the tests previously, the registration window has been reopened. Interested candidates should apply online at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
