3 crore poor families got electricity connection
On this occasion, PM Modi said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, pucca houses of more than 2 crore poor have been built. Most of the ownership rights in these houses belong to women. At the same time, through Saubhagya Yojana, about 3 crore poor families have been given electricity connections.
“The countrymen have to wait a long time for many essential needs like house, electricity, water, toilet, gas, road, hospital and school, which is sad. Our daughters will be able to contribute in nation building by coming out of home and kitchen only when the problems related to home and kitchen are solved first. Therefore, in the last 6-7 years, work has been done on a mission mode for every such solution.
