Under the 5-T initiative, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has changed 50 government high schools in the Hinjilicut and Sheragada Blocks in the Hinjilicut constituency. With these smart schools, Patnaik is putting out his vision of grassroots education revolution and delivering a clear message that great education is not a far-fetched ideal for the underprivileged parts of society who choose government schools.

Smart schools in Odisha have the following characteristics
Not only do these schools have smart classrooms, but they also include e-libraries, innovative science labs, pure drinking water, sanitary restrooms, sports facilities, and a plantation, as well as a generally healthy environment.
Across the state, schools are changing
Around 1000 government schools are being renovated as part of the 5T plan, including MoSchool, which will be dedicated to students in a stepwise way by November 14, and the remaining 6600 schools will be transformed into aspirational schools in the next years.
Soft components that use technology for better education material and approaches to reach youngsters are part of the change. From the surrounding community to alumni, PRIs, and school committees, everyone is working together to plan and execute this tremendous transition. Notably, 108 Odisha MLAs would visit Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik’s seat Hinjilicut in the Ganjam district of Odisha in five phases between August 21 and August 30, 2021.
