CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 result BIG Update: CBSE not to declare RESULT of these Class 12 students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notification ahead of the presentation of the results, stressing that students who missed online sessions or did not appear in the pre-board and half-yearly examinations will be declared absent. The circular was sent after certain schools indicated that a small number of kids who were enrolled in their school at the time of the LOC submission are no longer there.

  • The student has already taken TC.
  • The student has ceased to be a bonafide student of the school due to any reason including demise and name struck-off cases, etc.
  • The students could not be contacted by the school for various online/offline tests/exams/assessments during the complete session or during exam/practical time table and it was and is not possible to conduct required assessments.

In such instances, it is possible to ensure that the students are designated as “absent” so that their results are not announced. It should be emphasised that data on these pupils cannot be submitted by giving them zero grades or putting anything else next to their names.
