Exam dates for Diploma and Degree programmes are announced by the Karnataka government

After convening a meeting with higher officials of the department, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwathnarayan, who is also the minister for higher education, announced the schedule of examinations for Diploma and Degree programmes on Friday.

Narayana declared to the media that the practical exams for odd semesters (01-03-05) will be held from July 26 to 28, while theory exams for the remaining topics of the 01, 03, 05, and other semesters will be held from August 2 to 21. Practical exams for even semesters (02-04-06) will be held from November 2, 2021 to November 12, 2021, while theory exams for the same semesters will be held from November 2, 2021 to November 12, 2021.

Degree course exams for odd semesters (which have been completely postponed in Gulbarga, Karnataka, and Bangalore universities, with a few subjects remaining in some other universities) are scheduled to be completed by August 15, and for even semesters in October, with dates to be announced soon, he said. Contact courses would be arranged to assist students in writing the examinations, and they will be able to approach him for any clarifications, to clear any doubts, and to prepare for the examinations, he stated.

He stated that a decision on the opening of regular classes for degree classes will be made in 3-4 days after deliberations with Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.
