There is bad news for users doing video conferencing from Google Meet. Now the company has ended the facility of unlimited group video calls for a free account on the video calling app Meet. Now users will be able to do group calling only for one hour. According to Google, during group video calling, a notification will be received after 55 minutes in which information about the end of the call will be given.

750 rupees will have to be spent every month

Now such users who want to do group video calling for more than 1 hour, they will have to upgrade their Google account. For this you can buy Google Workspace Membership. Workplace membership will be available at the personal level for $ 9.99 (approximately Rs 750) per month. One-on-one calls without a plan will be available for up to 24 hours and with three or more people up to 60 minutes.

The company announced last year that anyone with a Google account can hold free meetings with up to 100 people without any time limit. Its integrated communication and help service Workplace is now available to everyone with a Google Account.

Google Meet was launched in April 2020, later it was added to the Gmail account. At that time the corona epidemic was spreading rapidly. Due to which the trend of working from home, online education started increasing.
