The Income Tax (IT) department has issued three official email IDs to taxpayers for filing complaints under the Faceless Assessment Scheme. Under this scheme, taxpayers are not required to meet any officer of the Income Tax Department.
IT Department Taxpayers said through social media that in order to further improve the taxpayer service, the department has created e-mail IDs under the faceless scheme to register complaints regarding pending cases. The department further said that with this, the taxpayers can make complaints through three different email IDs.
There is no confrontation between the taxpayers and the tax officer.
Under the Faceless Assessment Scheme, ie e-assessment, there is no face-to-face encounter between the taxpayers and the tax officer. This will make it easier for the taxpayers to file any complaint. With this, their problem will also be solved easily. This scheme was started by the central government in 2019.
