SHEIN Is Coming Back To India, This Time on Amazon; Check Details

Many Indians who shopped on SHEIN for apparel and accessories were disappointed when the government placed a ban on over 200 Chinese applications last year. They do, however, have some good news. SHEIN, a prominent Chinese ecommerce platform, is making a comeback in India. Shoppers in India can once again purchase fashionable and affordable clothing, but there is a catch. SHEIN will debut on Amazon in India. PUBG Mobile, TikTok, WeChat, Camscanner, and other popular apps, as well as the shopping website, were prohibited in June 2020. PUBG Mobile India resurfaced earlier this month under the name Krafton’s Battleground Mobile India.

SHEIN has announced that it will reopen its store during Amazon’s two-day Prime Day Sale, which begins at midnight on July 26 and finishes at midnight on July 27. SHEIN’s Prime Day launch has even gotten its own page on Amazon. @averagespy was the first to report on SHEIN’s relaunch in India.

SHEIN was among the first 59 Chinese apps to be banned by the Ministry of Information Technology under Section 69A of the IT Act in June last year for allegedly compromising cybersecurity and user privacy and endangering India’s “sovereignty and integrity, defense, security of state, and public order.”
