The Ola S1 electric scooter has been launched in India, with prices starting at 99,999 rupees

The Ola S1 electric scooter, Ola Electric’s first electric vehicle, is available in two varieties, with prices starting at 99,999 (Ex-showroom) for the base S1 variant. The top-of-the-line Ola S1 Pro is priced at 1, 29,999. Although the basic concept is the similar, the performance, range, number of riding modes, and number of colours vary between the two types.

 The S1 Pro adds features like Voice Control, Hill Hold, and Cruise Control to the standard S1 model. The S1 Pro also boasts a faster acceleration time, a longer range, and a faster top speed. The Ola S1 has a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour, a range of 121 kilometres, and two riding modes: Normal and Sports.

The S1 and S1 Pro are both driven by the same electric motor, which has a maximum output of 8.5 kW and a maximum torque of 58 Nm. The S1 comes with a 2.98 kWh battery, while the S1 Pro comes with a 3.97 kWh battery. The S1 Pro is claimed to go from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3 seconds, while the S1 accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.6 seconds.

 The S1 and S1 Pro have acceleration times of 7 seconds and 5 seconds from 0 to 60 kmph, respectively. Both the Ola S1 and S1 Pro can be charged to 75 km range in about 18 minutes using a fast charger. The S1 can be fully charged in 4 hours 48 minutes using a standard home charging outlet, while the S1 Pro can be fully charged in 6 hours 30 minutes.
