NEET 2021 news: Education and Health ministries review COVID-19 situation, may postpone exam

While so many students across the country await the announcement of the NEET 2021 entrance exam date, officials from the Ministries of Education and Health recently met to discuss the current COVID-19 situation in the country in preparation for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021.

According to insiders, the discussion took place a few days ago, and the NEET 2021 entrance exam is expected to be postponed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to release the application forms for NEET 2021, which is set to take place on August 1.

Due to logistical issues such as enabling exam centres, seating arrangements, admit card distribution, and changes in application, the NTA typically provides candidates a window of around 60 days between application and exam.
