Tata Motors to launch ‘Black Edition’ of Harrier, Nexon and Altroz cars soon

Tata Motors said on Thursday that the ‘Black Edition’ editions of the Harrier, Nexon, and Altroz will be available in India soon. These vehicles are expected to arrive at authorised Tata dealerships in the coming weeks, with price to be announced shortly after. There are no additional specifics available than the little facts disclosed in the most recent formal invite.Tata has, for the record, previously released dark-themed versions of their vehicles, including the Harrier. The vehicle is also available in the market as the ‘Dark Edition,’ which is based on the Harrier’s XZ and XZ+ trims and retails for Rs. 18.35 lakh and Rs. 19.60 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The new ‘Black Edition’ cars are likely to get a slightly tweaked exterior styling with blacked-out elements. Apart from the dark-themed exteriors, Tata is also likely to give these cars a fully black dipped cabin and interior colour theme – in sync with the sporty exteriors. Except for the cosmetic changes, the remainder of the ensemble could stay the same. As a result, the engine configuration, output, and feature list of the new Tata automobiles are unlikely to change. Pricing, on the other hand, may increase depending on the donor versions on which these models are based.

Meanwhile, the business said that in the month of June, it sold a total of 24,110 passenger automobiles. Nexon EV also set a new monthly sales record with 650 units sold last month, according to the company.
