No worries about parking! ParK+ app comes with Parking solutions

In a city like Metro, the problem of parking is always felt. In places like Pune, Mumbai, Delhi where the population is very large, parking is always needed. A lot of time is wasted searching for parking. Still never get parking. But now the problem of parking is going to disappear.

Park+ on Wednesday said it has partnered with managed office space provider Smartworks to provide automated smart parking solutions.

Park+ will enable campus administration for the flex space provider by automating parking allocation and managing seamless entry and exit of vehicles in and out of the premises. The unique RFID tag affixed on every car will ensure the movement of authorised vehicles only. The solution will help save time where real-time parking slots availability will be visible to members through Smartworks mobile app.

With ever-increasing traffic comes the problem of parking. In metros, this has kept many owners from taking their vehicles out or suffering every day during rush hours. In other words, this becomes a business opportunity that can be done at scale using technology.

Park + has been aggressively aggregating parking spaces in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and has around 75,000 spots for cars and two-wheelers. “Another use case we have is access control. We have Park+ tags for our customers. If they wish to utilise parking spots in corporate buildings or residential societies, they can simply scan the tags and go to their designated spot,” shares Lakhotia.

“Both Smartworks and Park+ are working towards elevating the experience of corporates and office-goers across metro cities. The users will now be able to check the real-time availability of parking lots on a mobile app, which will help them save time, reduce stress and save on fuel,” said Amit Lakhotia, founder, Park+.

With more people looking at personal vehicles for daily commute, companies are partnering with Park+ to enable their employees to access its 70,000 parking slots network and ensuring that they are no more constrained by the number of parking available in a specific building, Lakhotia added.

Neetish Sarda, founder of Smartworks, said, “We are building offices of the future and technology will be the key driver. Our digitally-enabled office campuses are in line with our vision of offering contactless and efficient workspaces to clients. Our association with Park+ will help automate the first touchpoint of our member’s daily office schedule – parking. In addition, it will remove the need for manual authentication of vehicles, improve access controls and further elevate the security profile of the campuses.
