Samsung Galaxy A22 launched in India

In India, Samsung has released a new affordable smartphone in the Galaxy A series. The Samsung Galaxy A22 features an AMOLED display, quad cameras, a large battery, and an octa-core processor.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 is available in India for Rs 18,499 for the 6GB/128GB model. The phone is available in two colours: black and mint. Samsung India’s website, as well as other major online retail outlets, will sell the phone.

Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A22

The MediaTek Helio G80 SoC powers the Galaxy A22, which is powered by an unidentified octa-core CPU with a 2.0GHz clock speed. The CPU comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card (Up to 1TB). The phone is powered by Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 skin on top.The A22 comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The water drop notch on the screen holds a 13 MP, f/2.2 selfie camera.The Galaxy A22 includes a quad-camera configuration on the back, with a 48 MP, f/1.8 main sensor. An 8 MP ultrawide sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor are the other three camera sensors. Optical image stabilisation is also included on the main 48 MP camera from Samsung.

The Galaxy A22 has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W rapid charging. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C connection, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and more connectivity choices are available. The phone also has a fingerprint reader on the side.
